How is everybody feeling?? If you were playing ZFX, you may be feeling some strong emotions right now. Personally, I’m exhausted! I’m emotionally drained. After investing so much time and energy, and having it finally end, I’m feeling somewhat deflated. I imagine this is how the Canucks feel when they get knocked out of the playoffs…

So by now you know that the zfx was “chopping an onion”. Many say it didn’t sound anything like that, but I must admit that it did (to me). A friend of mine told me many weeks ago, and even just yesterday, that she thought it was chopping an onion. I said “that’s not common enough”, and “there was nothing about onions in that video clue”. What a dummy I am. I even second guessed it, walked into the kitchen, picked up an onion peel, and scrunched it. It sounded possible, but I shrugged and put it back – THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE VIDEO ABOUT ONIONS!!! Did they talk about something making you cry? Nope. Peeling? Chopping? Layers? Nope nope nope. So despite Matty’s claim that “Ruby and Cruise gave a HUGE hint but nobody picked up on it”, there was nothing. Did they give the hint at some other time?? Matty B, explain yourself!!! 😛

On the one hand, I am just glad it’s over. On the other hand, I feel empty. Like a captivating book, you want to hurry up and finish so you can find out how it ends, but once it’s over you feel sad and lost, not ready for a new book quite yet. But I am overjoyed for dear, sweet Traci, who surely deserved to win it. She was so adorable…

The JRFM Music Mash also had my attention, but only in the end. The clips were too short, the jackpots got too high (spread the love), and the contest was just too hard. With a few tweaks, that could be a contest I’d look forward to playing again. For now, I’m glad it’s over too.

Moving on at a bit slower pace, our week continues with the following:

Today The Peak will have U2 tickets throughout the day. Listen for a U2 song and when you hear it, text 88000 with “U2, your name”. At the end of the song they will award the tickets and let the winner know by text. Make sure you put the “U2” in there, as it appears that The Peak and JRFM are sharing a phone…

JRFM will have Brantley Gilbert tickets all week with the Waking Crew.

Breakfast Television will have Canucks tickets at 6:10, 7:10, and 8:10. Watch to enter.

LG has U2 tickets for caller 4 when they play back-to-back U2 songs. You can log in and they tell you when it’ll play next (this morning between 9 and 10).

Try your luck at being caller 30 for Spring Ka-ching at 5:40, 7:40, 12:40, 2:40, and 4:40. The lucky caller wins $2000! I saw on Facebook that someone from the Island called but got a recorded message saying they weren’t within the calling area, or something like that. Has anyone else experienced that?

CFOX’s Payroll hires at 8, 11, 2, and 5. They have Eat Vancouver tickets, Nick Offerman & Megan Mullaly tickets during the drive, and evenings will have Stealth and/or Gob tickets.

Kiah and Tara Jean have Neil Diamond tickets at 7:40.

Play Beat the Bank on QMFM four times per day. Olivia will have One Republic tickets during her show.

Bro Jake on TSN 1040 will have a $250 e-transfer for caller 10, be listening for that.

Choose the cash or the car on Rock 101 at 8, 11, 2, and 5 (ish).
