In case you didn’t notice, it’s raining! YAAY! I already feel like I can have a longer shower…

This weekend there’s only one thing happening that I know about – the Peak is giving away WINE!! Yes, you read that right. They have Mad Fish wine prize packs worth $100 from Icon Fine Wines & Spirits. I’m going to guess the prize includes a bottle or two of wine and not just a bottle opener and wine glasses… Listen for the cue to call all weekend, until 4pm Sunday!

You’re going to need that bottle of wine by the time next week is over! Things are heating up, but for some reason it doesn’t seem as crazy as it’s been the last few years. That’s a good thing I suppose…

Starting Monday:

QMFM’s Beat the Bank at 7:05, 8:05, 11:05 and 4:05

Z95.3’s  ZFX at 8, 11, 2 and 4 (or is it 5?)

CFOX’s new contest which they call Easy Way Out but which I’m going to call Guess Duress: caller 9 gets to choose whether they want to answer the trivia question or take the $50 gift card. The jackpot starts at $1000 on Monday and goes up by $250 each time the guesser gets it wrong. When someone wins the jackpot, the new game starts at $250. If you choose the trivia question but get it wrong, you will not get the gift card either. Play at 8, 11, 2, and 5.

That seems do-able so far. But add to that Larry-Oke and Neil Young tickets on LG, Jason Aldean tickets on JRFM, the ACDC Australia trip on Rock 101, and $15,000 Thursdays on Virgin, and suddenly we are awfully busy!

Surely Peak and Kiss will have something up their sleeves too, and Jack’s Cuba trips start on September 8th.

Did you notice that NONE of these games requires me to listen for a name at any time? I am SO grateful for that! I still have to carry around the portable so I can listen to the ZFX, but even that guess is posted on their site so it’s no panic if I miss it. Other than that, there’s nothing else I need to keep track of this time.

Unless of course Jack starts their super secret “thank you” game, where they thank someone in passing and that person has to call them back to win money. *sigh*
