Monday May 16th

New This Week:

QMFM has Adele tickets! Listen for two Adele songs back-to-back. When you hear it, be the 25th caller to win tickets to one of Adele’s concerts in July. I’m not sure if you have to wait for the second song to end before calling, so I would just start calling right away just in case. There are 15 pairs of tickets to be won over 9 days (none on the weekend or on Victoria Day), which means it will play multiple times some days. One of the days (the first or the last probably) will have 3 pairs, so there are lots of chances to win. I won’t be trying for these but I hope you have a fabulous time if you win! *Note* you can’t have won anything from ANY Bell station in the last 30 days (TSN, Virgin, QMFM) to be eligible.

Bro Jake on TSN is taking qualifiers for a trip to Whistler – Fairmont Chateau Whistler including green fees. The other two shows are taking qualifiers for a trip to Toronto to watch 2 baseball games on May 29th and 30th. Make sure you’re available to travel those days before you enter! Listen for the code word with the afternoon shows and text it to 10-40-40 to qualify. Again, if you or anyone living in your house has won a contest from Bell in the past 30 days, you are not eligible. Humph.

JRFM has an amazing prize for the Secret Word – tickets to see Dolly Parton! WOOO! If you miss the word don’t panic – you can always listen back online to hear it. The You Can’t Win This jackpot is up to $820 or so – with this final question, it should only take another 2 months to finish it! The “question” for number 5 is “21 is as low as it gets” and it’s un-Googleable. If I think of anything I’ll let you know, but as it’s un-Googleable, I’m unlikely to come up with anything reasonable. For example, 21 is the lowest number to have 3 and 7 as factors. Huh! But that’s Googleable. The lowest frequency the human ear can hear is *about* 21 Hz. Also Googleable.

The Peak’s Free Money Artist is still be happening – text 88000 when you hear the Artist of the Day. If you miss the artist, which is announced every hour on the hour, you can listen back to the show online.

Rock 101 is giving you 20 more chances to choose the Cheque or the Cherokees.

CFOX is calling more names for that strange job at the station that nobody seems to be able to hang on to.

Z95.3 is offering you $5000. Just stay tuned and listen for an Adele song, a TSwift song, and a Maroon 5 song all in a row. I’m going to bank on it playing Friday morning, just because next Monday is a holiday. But who knows – maybe they’ll play it Wednesday with Emilie instead! čśÇ

There will be lots of updates so check back again later.
