Things That Happened:

Let me spare you the profanity that exploded out of my mouth when someone guessed “diving board” for ZFX. I just about lost my shit. This game is taking long enough without people guessing things that have already been sounds. I understand that not everyone obsesses about the game like I do, and sure, some people are new to the game so they don’t know what sounds have been used before.

YES! Logically I KNOW all of that. But !@#$! that doesn’t stop me from wanting to throw my phone at the wall (which I would NEVER do, not only because I can’t afford a new one but because I’m not a thrower of things. Okay, there was that ONE time I threw the remote and it smashed to pieces and never worked the same again, but I temporarily lost control of my sanity when the kids wouldn’t go to bed after an entire day of being their dancing monkey…)

Aaaanyways, Thursday was a weird day for many reasons. Jack was calling some funky names that I had some trouble with, and Beat the Crank continued to elude me. All for the best, as it turned out.

Tonight I will be going to the Commodore for the Zombies concert thanks to a generous friend. Hubby and I are excited to get out of the house for our annual date night, so hopefully they put on a good show. They are a band from the 60’s, a bit before my time, but I will definitely know some of the songs. Either way, the Commodore is an awesome venue and I expect to be dancing all night whether I know the song or not! I’ll be the chick on the dance floor by herself (hubby doesn’t dance but he holds a mean beer!)
